Hello. It's been a year now since the announcement came that we, JD Crowe's current New South members, were continuing on as a unit as he retired from a full time schedule at the end of 2012. Our debut came at a showcase luncheon last fall during the IBMA World of Bluegrass Convention in Nashville. Many emotions ran through our minds as we took the stage, but a standing ovation from those in attendance indicated an acceptance of our music. Rural Rhythm records pushed their schedule ahead by nearly a month to release our self titled "American Drive" CD so that we could have product for our merchandise table. Since then we have had a Bluegrass Today weekly chart #1 song and several other songs in the top 10, performed at some wonderful venues and made many new friends.
For all of this success, we would like to say THANK YOU. We'll see you soon!

With the recent release of their debut album the members of American Drive are excited to begin the 2013 touring schedule and share their new music, along with their take on some good ol' bluegrass standards, with listeners everywhere. The tour is scheduled to kick off at the world-famous Station Inn in Nashville, Tennessee on January 31st, 2013.
However, if you would like to get a early glimpse of what you can expect from these guys at a live show, be sure to tune in to Channel 61 on SirusXM for a "Track by Track" with host, Kyle Cantrell. Although the program was originally broadcast earlier in the week, there are still a couple of chances for listeners to catch the show again with airtimes including Saturday (1/19) at 8:00 am ET and Sunday (1/20) at 11:00 am ET. Once tuned in listeners will hear each track from American Drive's debut release as well as commentary from Kyle and the band about the project and music in general.
It has come to our attention that we had recorded down the wrong date for the Station Inn show in Nashville, TN in late January. The show IS scheduled for WEDNESDAY January 30,2013! We apologize for the mess up! Hope to see you there!
